About prayer wear
Prayer wear is clothing worn during prayer. Islamic teaching holds that a woman should not show more than her hands and face to men outside her family, and prayer calls for clothing that follows this teaching even more closely than everyday dress.
“I want to wear prayer clothes I actually like”
Through conversations with mosques and with Muslims themselves, we learned that prayer wear existed as its own category — and began making it after hearing, again and again, “I want prayer clothes that are pretty, that I actually like.” We want anyone, in any country, to be able to pray in comfort.
Each piece is made individually, one at a time, by mothers with young children in Fukushima. Made-to-order is also available.

Most designs are limited in quantity. We also offer a classic white design, of the kind common in Indonesia and elsewhere.

How it’s made
Sourcing the fabric → hand-cutting → sewing → needle inspection → packing (box sold separately) — each piece goes through these steps before it reaches you.
